If you need a break while recording, you can use the pause and resume controls.

Pausing and resuming a recording

To pause a recording, simply press on the pause icon in your toolbar.

Once clicked, you will see a notification on the bottom of the screen informing you that the recording is paused, and a red border around your page. To resume, simply press on the play button.

Note: You can also use shortcuts to pause and resume a recording. By default, these are Alt+Shift+M, or Option+Shift+M on Mac. You might need to set the shortcuts manually beforehand.
