No, the Screenity extension works locally, and it doesn’t collect any of your data or share it with anyone. You can even use it completely offline, or self-host it from GitHub.
If you decide to save your videos to Google Drive, we will not store any of your data in our servers, we only ask you to sign in with your Google account to be able to upload videos to Drive. You can read about their privacy practices here.
What about Screenity Pro?
If you use Screenity Pro or sign in, we only collect the minimum data needed to make the app work, like your email, videos, edits, or transcripts.
